A living history series following contributors stepping back into life at a 1910’s manor house. Y Plas (The Country House) sees one family and twelve other individuals live in the perfectly preserved Llanerchaeron Country House for three weeks under conditions as they would have been in Wales in 1910. The family lives in luxury upstairs whilst the other twelve work as servants and maids downstairs. The series follows the contributors’ attempts to live like their forefathers and takes in the lively atmosphere as the Country House wakes up from its hundred-year slumber.
