Bethesda, North Wales; once Slate Capital of the World is now a post-industrial village, partly in decline but also in ascendance. A cultural cauldron which has fostered many a rock band, poet and maverick.  A place steeped in history, hard graft and creativity. We take a glimpse into the lives of a variety of local characters in an attempt to discover the essence of ‘place’ and celebrate quotidian life in all its many guises.
