The actor and comedian Iwan John is waiting for a new kidney. Following a long period on dialysis his friend, the musician Steffan Rhys Williams offers him his kidney.
Following tests Steff’s kidney is not as compatible as it could be so the two decide to join a sharing scheme. This means Iwan will receive a more compatible kidney from a stranger, and Steff will donate his kidney to another stranger in return.
A big disappointment faces the pair as the organ sharing chain falls apart. Iwan now has one more life – line. He can take Steffan’s kidney and run the risk of his body rejecting it.
