Boom Cymru’s Copa — Patagonia Eric Jones ac Ioan Doyle has been shortlisted in the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival.
Copa, an S4C broadcast, coincided with the 150th anniversary celebrations of Y Wladfa, the Welsh settlement in Patagonia. The film celebrates the friendship of two men, two countries and one journey – a testament to the fascinating life of world renowned climber Eric Jones.
The festival, now in its 19th year, celebrates unique outdoor and mountaineering films capturing experiences and cultures from all corners of the globe. More information about the festival and finalists are to be announced this month.
