SALARY: dependent on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team at a hugely successful television production company. This role would be suited to somebody seeking a career in Finance.

The opportunity to study for a relevant accounting qualification will be available to the candidate.

You would ideally have a background in accounts administration. The company currently uses the Microsoft Navision accounts software package. Welsh language candidates desirable.

Boom is part of ITV Studios and one of Wales’s largest TV production companies. Headquartered in Cardiff Bay, our production, post-production, visual effects and motion graphics businesses deliver content to S4C, BBC, C4, ITV, C5, UKTV, Netflix and HBO.

The Ideal candidate must be:

  • Methodical and organised
  • Accurate with good attention to detail
  • Able to take responsibility for your tasks and deliver to deadlines
  • Computer literate with excellent numeracy skills (must have a good understanding of Excel)
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Able to communicate efficiently and effectively using a range of skills to support staff within the organisation


Duties within the role will include:

  • Maintain the day to day running of the purchase ledger accounts
  • Processing invoices
  • Monitoring and resolving disputed and queried invoices
  • Deal with all accounts payable related phone calls, email and queries
  • Banking administration and reconciliations as required
  • Assistance in sales ledger, expense claims and credit card receipts as required
  • Any other duties required will be determined by the Finance Manager.
