Exciting times here at Boom, as Viacom boss Bob Bakish breaks the news that we are to produce one of Channel 5’s new raft of original dramas – 15 Days, an adaptation of S4C’s 35 Diwrnod. Check out yesterday’s press reports on the project:
C5 has also ordered 15 Days, a four-part crime thriller from Wales-based Boom that reverses the traditional investigative narrative by opening with a murder. The commission is based on the S4C’s Welsh-language production 35 Diwrnod (35 Days) and is co-funded by C5, ITV Studios Global Entertainment and Welsh Government. (Broadcast)
Crime thriller “15 Days” is also scheduled for 2019. It starts with a brutal murder and then rewinds the events of the previous days to detail what happened and why. It is… co-funded by ITV Studios, which will handle distribution. (Variety)
