A powerful and moving film authored by twins Catherine and Kirstie Fields from Llanelli, who suffer from Fields Condition. Nearing their 18th birthday, Catherine and Kirstie were given speech aids that allowed them to communicate their thoughts and fears for the first time in years. This film is about their remarkable bravery, humour and love for each other, told candidly in their own words. Fy Chwaer a Fi has won many prestigious awards including Best On-screen Representation of Disability at the Creative Diversity Network Awards; an RTS nomination for best documentary; the Gold Medal award in the New York Film and Television Festival and Best Documentary at the Celtic Media Festival.
