Bandit

Presented by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens and Huw Evans, Bandit featured the latest news, acts and events from the Welsh music scene. Running for 8 series between 2004 and 2011, Bandit was one of the corner stones of S4C’s youth programming.  During this period, the series provided an invaluable platform to established and up and coming Welsh language bands.   Characterised by live performances, interviews and the unique presentation style of Huw Evans and Huw Stephens, Bandit featured performances from prominent performers including Cerys Matthews, Gruff Rhys and Euros Childs. The series won a Bafta Wales award in 2012 for Best Music and Entertainment Programme.
