Every episode takes a journey through 3 locations that are of particular significance, evoking childhood memories, family stories or career highlights. By revisiting their three locations, memories are unlocked and stories are shared of both happy and bittersweet moments within their lives, each place brings its highs and lows, its triumphs and difficult times.
In the first episode of the new series, athlete and Paralympic Champion Aled Sion Davies takes us on a journey to Whitesands Beach in Pembrokeshire, the Olympic Stadium in London where he won his first Paralympic Gold medal and the National Indoor Athletics Centre in Cardiff, where the daily routine and hard work in the gym continues. Assembly Member Adam Price starts in his hometown of Ammanford, before we head to Westminster and the House of Commons. We end the journey at Harvard University, in the USA, where Adam re-ignited his passion for politics. Widford Lodge School in Chelmsford, Tor Bay on the Gower and London are the 3 locations chosen by presenter and journalist Sean Fletcher, the city represents several key periods in his life. Musician Georgia Ruth Williams’ 3 places are Aberystwyth, the Lleyn Peninsula and Newnham College in Cambridge, where she studied for her degree. Presenter Ifan Jones Evans stays within his neighbourhood with his first two choices of his family farm in Pontrhydygroes, and his local football team in Pontrhydyfendigaid. We visit the Royal Welsh Showground for his third choice, a place where he began his television career. We are on the road with actor Ffion Dafis for the final episode of the series, starting in Dolwyddelan in the Conwy Valley, moving on to the Menai Straits, before heading back down along the legendary A470, the tarmac artery that runs from North to South Wales.
